Colin Day was appointed as Chief Executive of Filtrona plc on 1 April 2011. Colin had previously been the Chief Financial Officer of Reckitt Benckiser plc from September 2000 and prior to this the Group Finance Director of Aegis Group plc from 1995. Colin is a chartered accountant and had previously worked for ABB Group, DeLaRue, British Gas and Kodak. Colin is currently a non-executive director of WPP Group plc and AMEC plc having formerly been a non-executive director of easyJet plc. Imperial Tobacco plc and Cadbury plc.
